The Air Cadet Charity is a grant making charity supporting the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.

Our aim is to ensure that young people have equal access to opportunities, activities, and support to ensure their time within the RAF Air Cadet organisation allows them to develop their full potential.

It has recently come to our attention that the Air Cadet Charity's (ACC) Charity Commission Registered Charity Number has been used by a very small number of squadrons to bid for grants NOT managed or administered by the ACC. This is illegal; therefore, we ask that this practice ceases immediately.

The grant window is open until 31st January 2026!

In 2024-25 we gave 68 grants totalling £791,219. This supported 34,181 cadets.

Feedback...

“I had been concerned that the increased costs would spell the end of this long standing and very popular visit to Flanders, but thankfully the grant from the Air Cadet Charity ensured that we could continue to give cadets from across the region the opportunity to undertake this poignant and though provoking visit.”
Flight Lieutenant Dave Purvis, 359 (Bexleyheath) Sqn
“Thank you for a truly wonderful day at NASC Industry Day. I won’t forget it and hope that I will become part of the RAF in years to come. Thank you.”
Cadet from 5F (Northampton) Sqn
“Just a massive thank you for granting the funds to help the cadets and families take part in this valuable, poignant and worthwhile visit to the Somme and Ypres.”
Joan Jackson, 352 (Burnley) Sqn
