Aviation opportunities sit at the heart of the RAF Air Cadet experience. In line with our mission to ensure access for all, the Air Cadet Charity has launched the Immersive Technology Grant Programme to help ATC squadrons purchase flight simulator and Esports equipment.
This initiative aims to ensure that every squadron, regardless of size, location, or existing resources, can experience the thrill of virtual flight and competitive aviation-themed training.

To assist with demand, we have divided the application process into three phases. Application windows for each phase will open regularly throughout the year.
The Phase 1 window reopens 2nd March - 24th April 26.
Open to squadrons that do not have any flight simulator or Esports equipment.
The Phase 2 window opens 2nd March - 24th April 26.
Open to squadrons who may already have equipment but would like to add to existing kit with one of the available options.
Phase 3 window date to be confirmed.
Open to squadrons who require a grant to update existing kit.
