Yes, but you must apply for everything in the same application.
Yes. Partial funding is possible, and match funding is encouraged.
Applications are reviewed after each window closes. For General Grants, if you apply in the Oct-Jan window, you will receive a decision by 30th April.
If you apply in the April-Jul window, you will receive a decision by 31st October. Once approved, funding will follow.
We will not normally fund:
● Retrospective costs.
● Anything needing money before a decision is made.
● Costs responsible to RAFAC.
● Minibuses and other vehicles.
● Infrastructure and permanent building works.
● Items not included in RAFAC policy.
● Individual drones.
● Trophies for squadrons, wings or regions.
● New crests.
● Combined Cadet Force (CCF) Unit requests – due to our funding coming from ATC cadet contributions. The CCF Association should be approached for any CCF grant requests.
Yes, if they’re RAFAC-approved.
Squadron OC or Civilian Committee.
All grant applications are presented to the Air Cadet Charity Grants Committee. The Committee consists of a selection of trustees of the charity and volunteers with relevant experience, who review and make a decision on each case separately.
