On 1 July 2024 we had our official launch event at CCLA’s head office in London, to celebrate launching the Air Cadet Charity on 1 April. We shared our journey so far into transforming what was the Air Training Corps General Purposes Fund into an independent grant-making charity supporting the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
The event was a chance for us to share the transformation of the charity and the nationwide competition we held for cadets to design our new logo. Our amazingly talented winner, Max Robinson was able to join us for the evening and shared with our guests his inspiration and experiences as an Air Cadet.
It was an inspirational evening and really brings home how amazing and talented this group of young people and the volunteers that support them are. The Air Cadet Charity team feel extremely privileged to work alongside them.
It was great to be able to share our aims and vision for the future of the Charity with all the cadets, volunteers, industry partners, professional institutions, charities and RAF personnel who attended. We have ambitious plans for the future so watch this space!
A huge thank you to CCLA Investment Management who kindly hosted the event for us and to all who joined us for the evening, we look forward to what we can achieve by working together in the future.
A special thanks as well to Samuel Dean and the Team Lewis Foundation for the fabulous video!
