The Air Cadet Charity is pleased to announce that three grant programmes will open for applications on 1 October 2026:

Core Grant‍

Formerly named 'General Grant', our Core Grant provides funding for essential needs that don't fit into our other grant categories: Core Grant. Window will close 24 January 27.

Development Grant‍

Formerly named the 'Air Cadet Development Scheme', our Development Grant is available to cadets and junior volunteers, prioritising applications for training, courses and qualifications that demonstrate a clear, practical pathway into a specific career or employment: Development Grant. Window will close 24 January 27.

Immersive Tech Grant Phase 2

Funding to help squadrons access immersive technology, including virtual reality and simulation-based learning, to enhance training and develop skills in areas such as STEM, leadership and problem-solving. Phase 2 is available to squadrons who may already have equipment but would like to add to existing kit with one of the available options: Immersive Tech Grant. Window will close 30 Oct 26.

We're reopening Phase 2 of the Immersive Tech Grant for a final funding round, giving eligible squadrons another opportunity to apply before future phases are considered. This will help ensure funding reaches those who would benefit most and enable more cadets to access immersive learning opportunities. Previous applicants who were not awarded funding are encouraged to reapply if they remain eligible.

This additional funding window reflects our commitment to supporting squadrons that have yet to benefit from the programme, helping to ensure that immersive technology is accessible to those with the greatest need before the programme progresses to future phases.
